Every entire function, which is bounded, is constant. However, if the boundedness condition is slightly relaxed, this is no longer true. For instance, there are nonconstant entire functions bounded on every line. The author goes even further, providing a manifold of entire functions rapidly decreasing together with their derivatives on every strip. This manifold is dense in the space of all entire functions with the compact-open topology.
