Perturbation bounds and condition numbers for the Hessenberg form of single input controllable linear systems are derived in several ways. The perturbation bounds for the QR factorization of the Krylov vectors and of its orthogonal factor are found. Both normwise and componentwise analysis of systems in Hessenberg form is performed. A numerical example for a fifth order system is given.
