Let \(H\) be a normal analytic subgroup of the nilpotent Lie group \(G\). Let \(\mathcal A\) be a separating algebra of moderate \(C^\infty\) functions on \(G/H\). We show that an \(\mathcal A\)-invariant ideal \(I\) in the Schwartz algebra \(\mathcal{S} (G)\) is the extension \(E(L)\) of its restriction \(L\) to \(H\). In particular we determine the minimal closed ideal \(j(C)\) associated with a \(\widehat {G/H}\)-invariant closed subset of \(\widehat {G}\).
