The authors define an addition operation on the class of quasi-concave functions. This new operation polarizes the Lebesgue integral. The authors also define mixed integrals. They generalize many important inequalities by rewriting them as rearrangement inequalities. In particular, they extend both the Brunn-Minkowski theorem and the Alexandrov-Fenchel inequality. Moreover, they prove the Alexandrov inequalities for log-concave functions.
