    Let \( X \) be a finite- or infinite-dimensional complex Banach space. For a rapidly decreasing radial weight~\(v\), the space \( H_v(X) \) consists of those entire functions~\(f\) on~\(X\) for which \( \sup_{x\in X} v(x)|f(x)| < \infty \). If \( (v_n)_n \) is a decreasing family of weights, then \( VH(X) \) denotes the inductive limit \( \text{ind}_{n\to\infty} H_{v_n}(X) \). There is also a vector valued version, denoted by \( VH(X,E) \). The sequence \( v_n \) is called regularly decreasing if, for every~\(n\), there is \( m \geq n \) such that, for every \( \epsilon > 0 \) and every~\(k\), there is \( \delta > 0 \) such that \( v_m(x) \geq \epsilon v_n(x) \) implies \( v_k(x) \geq \delta v_n(x) \). It is shown that \( VH(X) \) admits a predual~\(F\), i.\,e., the strong dual of~\(F\) is \( VH(X) \), provided that \( (v_n)_n \) is regularly decreasing. In that case, \( F \) together with the map \( \Delta : X \to F \), \( x \mapsto \delta_x \), has the following universal property, known as linearization: For every Banach space~\(E\) and every \( f \in VH(X,E) \), there is a unique continuous operator \( T_f \in \mathcal L(F,E) \) such that \( T_f \circ \Delta = f \).
