It is shown (well-known in scattered places) that the Euler infinite product expansion of \(\sin x/x\) implies such results as the Wallis formula for \(2/\pi\), the Gregory-Leibnitz alternating series for \(\pi/4\), Euler's Basel formula for \(\pi^2/6\), and the Lord Brouncker's continued fraction for \(4/\pi\).
