On quadratic orthogonal bisectional curvature (Q1936053)

The authors investigate the positivity of a special type of curvature of a Kähler manifold called quadratic orthogonal bisectional curvature. This positivity is weaker than positivity of the bisectional curvature or orthogonal bisectional curvature. It is shown that a Kähler space of nonpositive quadratic orthogonal bisectional curvature has positive scalar curvature at a point, unless it is flat at this point. If the manifold is compact and irreducible, than it has positive first Chern class. Moreover, in the DeRham decomposition of the universal cover of a reducible manifold, all factors are compact except at most one, which is either complex Euclidean space or one-dimensional.
