Following the success of the programme of constructing deformation quantizations of (coordinate rings of) simple complex Lie groups, it is natural to ask if we can construct quantizations of associated structures, such as subgroups or, as considered here, conjugacy classes. These conjugacy classes admit Poisson structures, coming from a Poisson structure on the group, and hence one hopes to be able to quantize these. This work focuses on the particular cases of the symplectic groups \(\mathrm{SP}(2n)\), and previous work of the author [Commun. Math. Phys. 272, No. 3, 635--660 (2007; Zbl 1185.17015)] has produced quantizations of conjugacy classes when the isotropy subgroup of the class is a Levi subgroup. That work used representation theory of quantized enveloping algebras and also produced significant results furthering the understanding of the dynamical Yang-Baxter equation. In the present work, the quantization results are extended to closed conjugacy classes whose isotropy subgroup is not of Levi type. By analogy with the Levi case, classes are quantized via a realisation of the quantized coordinate ring \(\mathbb{C}_{\hbar}[\mathrm{SP}(2n)]\) in the algebra of endomorphisms of a suitable \(U_{\hbar}(\mathfrak{sp}(2n))\)-module. The main part of this paper is then the identification of the desired module in this case, from which the ideal in \(\mathbb{C}_{\hbar}[\mathrm{SP}(2n)]\) defining the quantization of the conjugacy class can be found (Theorem 10.1).
