A nonlinear evolution equation of the form \[ y'(t)+A(y(t))=f \] is considered for an evolutionary triple \(V\Subset H\equiv H^*\subset V^*\), where \(V\) is a reflexive separable Banach space, and \(H\) is Hilbert space. It is assumed that the nonlinear operator \(A:V\to V^*\) is pseudomonotone and satisfies certain dissipation and power growth conditions, \(f\in H\). Assumptions do not guarantee uniqueness of the Cauchy problem. The problem of asymptotic behaviour of weak solutions as \(t\to \infty\) is studied. Existence of a global compact attractor for a multivalued semiflow generated in \(H\) is proved as well as of a trajectory attractor in the space of trajectories. A relation between the two is established. Some parabolic boundary value problems are claimed to be an example. The same results for autonomous differential-operator inclusions were given in another of the author's papers [Cybern. Syst. Anal. 47, No. 5, 800--811 (2011; \url{doi:10.1007/s10559-011-9359-6})]. The proofs are virtually identical.
