The author extends the results of \textit{A. Quéguiner-Mathieu} et al. [J. Pure Appl. Algebra 216, No. 12, 2614--2628 (2012; Zbl 1286.20061)] to higher Chern class maps, where a connection between the indices of the Tits algebras of a split linear algebraic group and the degree-one parameters of its motivic \(J\)-invariant (defined in [\textit{V. Petrov} et al., Ann. Sci. Éc. Norm. Supér. (4) 41, No. 6, 1023--1053 (2008; Zbl 1206.14017)]) is established through the use of the second Chern class map in the Riemann-Roch theorem without denominators. Applications to the groups of inner type \(E_6\) are obtained.
