This paper is about norm inequalities for bounded operators acting on a complex Hilbert space \(H\), in particular, inequalities involving symmetric (also called unitarily invariant) norms on \(B(H)\). The central ideas of the paper revolve around the arithmetic geometric mean inequality (see the paper by \textit{F. Kittaneh} in [Linear Algebra Appl. 171, 1--8 (1992; Zbl 0755.15008)]) and the idea of doubling the Hilbert space \(H\) in order to operate with matrices with entries in \(B(H)\) (in this paper, the authors use \(n\times n\) matrices with entries in \(B(H)\)).
