The authors study the relation between \(J\) and \(K\) interpolation spaces in limiting cases. For example, for a Banach couple \((A_0,A_1)\) they consider the \(J\) interpolation space \((A_0,A_1)_{f,q}\), \(1\leq q\leq\infty,\) where the function parameter \(f\) is \(t^{\theta_0}\) for \(0<t<1\) and it is \(t^{\theta_1}\) for \(t>1,\) \(0\leq\theta_0, \theta_1\leq 1.\) This space in the limiting case \(\theta_1=0\), \(0<\theta_0<1\) is characterized as \(K\) interpolation space. Some applications are also given.
