The paper provides sufficient conditions for the existence of an isomorphism of Floer cohomology groups \(HF(L_0,\dots,L_r,L_{r+1},\dots,L_{k-1})\cong HF(L_0,\dots, L_r\circ L_{r+1},\dots,L_{k-1})\), where \(\{L_i\}\) is a cyclic set of Lagrangian correspondences and \(L_r\circ L_{r+1}\) denotes a geometric composition operation. This result has important consequences for the theory of holomorphic quilts introduced by \textit{K. Wehrheim} and \textit{C. T. Woodward} [Adv. Math. 230, No. 1, 177--228 (2012; Zbl 1263.57026)].
