The authors re-consider the global wave-front set of the first author and \textit{L. Maniccia} [Ann. Global Anal. Geom. 24, No. 4, 375--400 (2003; Zbl 1036.35154)] in the new frame of the Banach function spaces \(B\), with \(S(\mathbb R^n)\subset B\subset S'(\mathbb R^n)\). Relevant examples for \(B\) are given by the classical and weighted modulation spaces, cf. \textit{K.-H. Gröchenig} [Foundations of time-frequency analysis. Boston, MA: Birkhäuser (2001; Zbl 0966.42020)]. The global \(B\)-wave-front set \(WF_Bu\) of a distribution \(u\in S'(\mathbb R^n)\) is then defined as union of 3 components, \(WF^1_Bu\), \(WF^2_B u\), \(WF^3_Bu\), called the local, Fourier local and oscillating wave-front set, respectively. The authors give a precise analysis of the action on \(WF_Bu\) of the \(SG\)-pseudo-differential operators of \textit{C. Parenti} [Ann. Mat. Pura Appl., IV. Ser. 93, 359--389 (1972; Zbl 0291.35070)] and \textit{H. O. Cordes} [The technique of pseudodifferential operators. Cambridge: Univ. Press. (1995; Zbl 0828.35145)].
