A block of the BGG category \(\mathcal{O}\) for a semi-simple complex finite dimensional Lie algebra admits, via a result of Soergel, a combinatorial description using the coinvariant algebra of the corresponding Weyl group. This allows one to define an analogue of the category \(\mathcal{O}\) for arbitrary Coxeter systems. In the paper under review the author shows that many constructions and results can be transfered from the classical Lie algebraic setup to the general (combinatorial) setup. In particular, the author defines and establishes some properties for translation functors, Zuckerman functors and twisting functors and, moreover, the author shows that the homomorphism space between ``Verma'' modules is at most one-dimensional and that any nonzero homomorphism is injective.
