In his previous work [Math. Phys. Anal. Geom. 12, No. 3, 255--286 (2009; Zbl 1183.47034)], the author showed a result of localization for matrix-valued Anderson-Bernoulli operators acting on the space of \(\mathbb{C}^N\)-valued square-integrable functions, where the potential was fixed to a tridiagonal matrix with coefficients \(0\) at the diagonal and \(1\) otherwise. This paper generalizes his result to the case of potentials in the real symmetric matrices. This is obtained by proving that a Lie group with a finite number of generators is dense in the group \(\mathrm{Sp}_N(\mathbb{R})\) of real symplectic matrices and generating the Lie algebra associated with \(\mathrm{Sp}_N(\mathbb{R})\).
