Triangular subgroups of \(Sp(d,\mathbb R)\) and reproducing formulae (Q1950181)

In this paper the extended metaplectic representation is considered of the semidirect product between the Heisenberg group \(\mathbb H^d\) and the symplectic group \(Sp(d,\mathbb R)\). Subgroups of the form \(\Sigma\rtimes D\), where \(\Sigma\) is a \(d\times d\) symmetric matrix and \(D\) is a closed subgroup of \(GL(d,\mathbb R)\), are of main interest. The authors give a general setting for the reproducibility of such groups which include the ones for the single examples discussed in [\textit{E. Cordero} et al., J. Fourier Anal. Appl. 12, No. 3, 157--180 (2006; Zbl 1096.42016)]. Provided are also new examples of reproducing groups of the type \(\Sigma\rtimes D\), in dimension \(d=2\).
