Almost contact manifolds with B-metric are the odd-dimensional version of the almost complex manifolds with Norden metric. The present paper is devoted to the notion of canonical-type connection on these manifolds. More precisely, a natural (i.e., structure-preserving) connection of canonical-type is determined. The class of considered manifolds where this connection coincides with a previously known natural connection is described.
