In algebraic geometry, there is an important question of classification of compact hyperkähler manifolds. By the reviewer's earlier paper [Math. Res. Lett. 8, No. 5--6, 663--669 (2001; Zbl 1011.53039)], the picture of the hyperkähler fourfolds is clearer. In that case, one either has \(b_2 = 23\) or \(3\leq b_2 \leq 8\). In case that \(b_2 = 23\), there is only one possibility for the Hodge diamond. Therefore, recently there are a lot of efforts from the author for the case when the integer cohomology ring is isomorphic to that of the second Hilbert scheme of the \(K3\) surface [\textit{K. G. O'Grady}, Geom. Funct. Anal. 15, No. 6, 1223--1274 (2005; Zbl 1093.53081), Commun. Contemp. Math. 10, No. 4, 553--608 (2008; Zbl 1216.14040)]. \textit{A. Beauville} [J. Differ. Geom. 18, 755--782 (1983; Zbl 0537.53056)] proved that for any compact hyperkähler manifold, there is an integral non-degenerated \((3, b_2 -3)\) quadratic form \(q_M\) on the integral cohomology group \(H^2 (M, {\mathbb Z})\). One could make it indivisible. In [Duke Math. J. 134, No. 1, 99--137 (2006; Zbl 1105.14051)], the author proved that certain double covering of some degree 6 hypersurface in \({\mathbb C}\mathbb{P}^5\) is hyperkähler and is deformation equivalent to \((K3)^{[2]}\). It also has a 20 dimensional moduli. As a projective manifold, there is a polarization ample line bundle H such that \(q_M (H) = 2\). There are three other 20 dimensional moduli of projective hyperkähler fourfolds deformation equivalent to the \((K3)^{[2]}\) constructed in [\textit{A. Beauville} and \textit{R. Donagi}, C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I 301, 703--706 (1985; Zbl 0602.14041); \textit{O. Debarre} and \textit{C. Voisin}, J. Reine Angew. Math. 649, 63--87 (2010; Zbl 1217.14028); \textit{A. Iliev} and \textit{K. Ranestad}, Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 353, No. 4, 1455--1468 (2001; Zbl 0966.14027)]. With \(q_M (H) = 6, 22, 38\). In this paper, the author proved that some degeneration of the manifolds in [Zbl 1105.14051] is birational to some \((K3)^{[2]}\). It is generally believe that one could get some hyperkähler manifolds from some objects related to a hyperkähler manifold. The author obtained two new hyperkähler manifolds of complex dimension 6 and 10 in some earlier works.
