In this paper, the author improves a previous result of \textit{K. Matomäki} [Math. Proc. Camb. Philos. Soc. 147, No. 2, 267--283 (2009; Zbl 1196.11101)]. Namely, he proves that for any irrational \(\alpha \) and some \(\theta ,\;0 < \theta < 1.5/100\), there are infinitely many primes \(p\) such that \(p+2\) has at most two prime factors and \(||\alpha p+\beta||<p^{-\theta}\). For the proof the author uses a theorem of \textit{C. Pan} and \textit{C. Pan} [On the Goldbach conjecture (Chinese). Beijing: Science Press (1981; Zbl 0524.10040)] and a more sophisticated weighted sieve method developed by \textit{Y. Cai} [J. Number Theory 128, No. 5, 1336--1357 (2008; Zbl 1146.11052), Lemma 5].
