The author introduces, in increasing generality, three frameworks to construct derived moduli stacks. These are, in increasing order of generality, differential graded Lie algebras (DGLAs, Section 3), cosimplicial groups (Section 4) and quasicomonoids (Section 5). In the last section, examples of moduli spaces are constructed using quasicomonoids. These include moduli of finite schemes, coherent sheaves, polarized projective schemes and finite group schemes. The methods have the advantage of providing functorial interpretations for the moduli problems at hand, thereby improving the results in two papers of \textit{I. Ciocan-Fontanine} and \textit{M. Kapranov} [Ann. Sci. Ec. Norm. Super (4) 34, No. 3, 403--440 (2001; Zbl 1050.14042) and J. Am. Math. Soc. 15, No. 4, 787--815 (2002; Zbl 1074.14003)]. The author also gives interpretations in terms of nerves of \(\infty\)-groupoids that were used in his previous paper [J. K-Theory 10, No. 1, 41--85 (2012; Zbl 1257.14008)].
