This article studies boundary regularity of solutions of generalized Stokes equations. Existence of second derivatives of velocity and their optimal regularity are shown. The equation treated in this work is as follows: \[ -\mathrm{div }\mathcal{S}(D(u))+\nabla \pi = f, \quad\mathrm{div}(u)=0\text{ in }\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^n, \] where \(u\) is the velocity, \(\pi\) is the pressure, \(f\) stands for the density of volume forces, \(\mathcal{S}\) is the extra stress tensor and \(D(u)=[\nabla u + (\nabla u)^\top]/2\). This problem is complemented by perfect slip boundary conditions of the following form: \(u\cdot \nu=0\) and \((\mathcal{S}\nu)\cdot \tau=0\) on \(\partial\Omega\), where \(\nu\) is the outward normal vector and \(\tau\) is any vector tangent to \(\partial\Omega\). The main theorem gives a bound of the velocity's regularity in the following sense \[ \int_\Omega |\nabla V(D(u))|^2dx\leq C \left(\int_\Omega\phi^\ast(|f|)dx+\int_\Omega\phi^\ast(|\nabla f|)dx\right). \] In the case of power-low models we have, \(V(D(u))=\mu(1+|D(u)|^2)^{(p-2)/4}D(u)\), where \(\mu\) is a nonlinear function, and \(\phi^\ast\) satisfies non-standard growth conditions. The proof of this result is divided in three steps: the first step studies the case \(p=2\) which gives \(u\in W^{2,2}(\Omega)^n\), the second step uses a regularized version of the problem, and the last step concerns the limit from the regularized problem to the original one.
