A boundary value problem for an evolution model is considered. Details regarding the solvability of the system can be found for instance in [\textit{M. V. Turbin}, Abstr. Appl. Anal. 2006, Article ID 12497, 27 p. (2006; Zbl 1155.76308)]. One introduces a control function and formulates a weak feedback optimal control problem for the stated BVP. In case the control function satisfies some special conditions, the feedback optimal control problem admits at least one weak solution and the space of solutions is bounded from below. A cost functional on all weak solutions is defined. In case the control function and the cost functional fulfill some special conditions there is at least one weak solution that minimizes the performance functional.
