For \(t,\gamma>0\) and \(a>1,\) set \[ P^t_{a,\gamma}f(x):=\int_{\mathbb{R}}\hat{f}(\xi)e^{it|\xi|^a}e^{-t^\gamma|\xi|^a}e^{ix\xi}\text{d}\xi \quad (x \in \mathbb R) \] and \[ P^\ast_{a,\gamma}f(x):=\sup_{t\in (0,1)}|P^t_{a,\gamma}f(x)| \quad (x \in \mathbb R). \] The author obtains that the infimum of the values of \(s>0\) such that \(P^\ast_{a,\gamma}\) is bounded from \(H^s(\mathbb{R})\) into \(L^2(\mathbb{R})\) is \(\frac{1}{4}a\max((1-\frac{1}{\gamma}),0),\) and that the infimum of the values of \(s>0\) such that \(\lim_{t\to 0}P^t_{a,\gamma}f(x)=f(x)\) for almost every \(x\in \mathbb{R}\) whenever \(f\in H^s(\mathbb{R})\) is \(\min(\frac{1}{4}a\max((1-\frac{1}{\gamma}),0),\frac{1}{4}).\) Furthermore, this convergence also holds for all \(f\in L^2(\mathbb{R})\) when \(\gamma \in [0,1]\) and for all \(f\in H^{\frac{1}{4}}(\mathbb{R})\) when \(\gamma \in [\frac{a}{a-1},\infty)\).
