The authors derive Hardy inequalities for functions in the Hardy space \(H^p(K)\) for \(0<p\leq 1\) and for the Laguerre hypergroups on \(K:=[0,\infty[\times\mathbb R\) depending on the index \(\alpha\) of the hypergroups. These examples include certain orbit hypergroups associated with Heisenberg groups.
