A new type of the generalized Lyapunov exponents is defined, studied and applied for studying the asymptotical growth of solutions to differential systems. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the upper semicontinuity of the senior generalized Lyapunov exponents in a class of systems of differential equations are obtained.
