Hydroelastic system considered here are composed of a fluid including an elastic oscillating body. In previous papers it was pointed out that in some situations there occurs a wave localization (strength concentration) in a vicinity of the oscillating body. This phenomenon can constitute nonpropagating (trapped) waves. A study of this fact led to the conclusion that for the corresponding operator a mixed spectrum may exist; more precisely, a discrete spectrum appears for the operator describing the system behaviour. Here the authors perform an analysis in the cases when the wave localization can occur (oscillating die), and cannot (oscillating membrane). It is shown that a soliton can propagate for a nonlinearly elastic body. The calculation and proofs are clearly carried out, and physical interpretations of the results are provided.
