The authors establish and prove some new sufficient conditions for uniform persistence and existence of strictly positive solutions to general nonautonomous \(N\)-species competitive Lotka-Volterra systems with delay by using Lyapunov-like functions to estimate the ultimate lower and upper bounds for all positive solutions to the system.
