On oscillation of a logistic equation with several delays (Q1963894)

The scalar delay additive logistic equation \[ \dot y(t)= y(t) \sum^m_{k=1} r_k(t)\Biggl(1- {y(h_k(t)\over k}\Biggr)\tag{1} \] is considered with \(h_k(t)\leq t\), \(r_k(t)\geq 0\), \(k>0\). It is proved that the oscillation properties of (1) can be deduced from the corresponding properties of the linear equation \[ \dot x(t)+ \sum^m_{k=1} r_k(t) x(h_k(t))= 0. \] The fixed point theory is applied. Explicit nonoscillation and oscillation conditions are presented.
