Results on local existence of solutions of nonlinear differential equations, using the Lebesgue integral, are well known. In this classical setting, the solutions are absolutely continuous. The author, in this paper, generalizes the above results using the Denjoy-Khintchine integral. The corresponding solutions are generalized absolutely continuous in the wide sense. However, derivatives used are still in the ordinary sense and are not approximate derivatives. P. S. Bullen and D. N. Sarkhel have considered similar problems, using approximate derivatives, under the AP-integral setting.
