The authors describe several modifications of Lyapunov-Schmidt reduction schemes applied to parametrized nonlinear equations depending on the choice of base functions. It is shown that the transfer from one scheme to another leads to the transformation of the contact-equivalence of the bifurcation equation. The combination of Lyapunov-Schmidt methods with several discretization schemes (Galerkin, collocation and other approximations) results in disributions of the bifurcation equation. In this connection the authors pose the problem of conditions for a local \(k\)-determinancy of the bifurcation equation, which means the preservation of a local topological type for a solutions set and asymptotic representations of solutions branches. Examples of \(k\)-determined equations are given and some simple conditions for \(k\)-determinancy are presented. The results of the computer realizations of described algorithms are given.
