Let \(k\) be a commutative ring, and \(A,B\) two \(k\)-algebras. A twisting map \(\tau\) of \(B\otimes_kA\) into \(A\otimes_kB\) is a \(k\)-linear map satisfying: (1) \(\tau(I_B\otimes\mu_A)=(\mu_A\otimes I_B)(I_A\otimes\tau)(\tau\otimes I_A)\); (2) \(\tau(\mu_B\otimes I_A)=(I_A\otimes\mu_B)(\tau\otimes I_B)(I_B\otimes\tau)\); (3) \(\tau(b\otimes 1)=1\otimes b\) and \(\tau(1\otimes a)=a\otimes 1\), \(\forall a\in A\), \(b\in B\). Given a twisting map \(\tau\colon B\otimes A\to A\otimes B\), by defining the following multiplication \(\mu_\tau\) in \(A\otimes B\): \(\mu_\tau:=(\mu_A\otimes\mu_B)(I_A\otimes\tau\otimes I_B)\), one can build up a \(k\)-algebra \(A_\tau B\), called a twisted tensor product of \(A\) and \(B\). In this paper the authors compute the Hochschild homology of some twisted tensor products of \(k\)-algebras which are a natural generalization of Ore extensions. The authors apply their results to the following rings: the ring \(D_{Q,P}(X,\partial/\partial X)\) of differential operators of the multiparametric affine space, the ring \(O_q(_{sp}\mathbb{C}^{2v})\) of coordinates of the quantum symplectic \(2v\)-dimensional space and the ring \(O_q(S_0\mathbb{C}^{2v})\) of coordinates of the quantum \(2v\)-dimensional Euclidean space, obtaining some interesting results.
