      The present paper deals with a class of differential equations appearing in high-tension electricity networks of the form \[ \ddot x+R F'(x)\dot x +\tfrac 1L F(x)=Ae(t), F(x)=\alpha x+\beta x^{2k+1}, \] where \(e(t)\) is an almost-periodic function, \(k\) a positive integer, and \(\alpha, \beta, R, L, A\) are positive constants. A sufficient condition is given for detecting the appearance of almost-periodic oscillations.
