Let \(t=(t_n)^\infty_1\) be a sequence of numbers with \(t_n \in(0,1)\) \((n=1,2, \dots)\). The matrix \(A=(a_{nk})\), \(a_{nk}={k+\alpha\choose k} t_n^{k+1} (1-t_n)^{\alpha+1}\) for \(\alpha>-1\) is called an Abel-type matrix. This matrix determines a sequence to sequence mapping between sequence spaces. The main purpose of this paper is the study of these mappings into the space \(\ell\). The author gives necessary and sufficient conditions for such mappings to be an \(\ell-\ell\), \(G-\ell\), \(G_w-\ell\) mapping, where \[ G= \bigl\{y=(y_k)\mid y_k={\mathcal O}(r^k)\text{ for some } r\in(0,1)\bigl\}, \] \[ G_w= \bigl\{y=(y_k)\mid y_k={\mathcal O}(r^k)\text{ for some }r\in(0,w)\text{ with }0<w<1 \bigr\}. \]
