An integrator for time-dependent systems with oscillatory behavior (Q1971322)

A new integrator is introduced. It provides accuracy for oscillatory functions as well. The method applies to the class of functions which are Fourier transforms of distributions of band-limited support. Both implicit and explicit methods are developed based on a Nyquist-type condition involving the highest frequency contained in the signal.
