SFA package, symmetric functions on different alphabets, gives the possibility to perform formal computations by implementing the structure of \(\Delta\)-ring of symmetric functions viewed as operators. SFA is implemented in Maple. It is similar with Symmetrica and Sym for Macsyma. As an example, a recover procedure is taken for different classical expressions of Lagrange inversion and of Faber polynomials.
