The authors have discussed one of the famous problems in current theoretical physics, namely the study of a two-point function characterizing the stress-tensor fluctuations of a massless minimally coupled field for an invariant vacuum state in the de Sitter spacetime. The concerned function is explicitly computed for spacelike separated points, which are geodesically connected. In the fourth section, certain computations of the stress-energy tensor fluctuations are dealt with in detail. An appendix provides some of the related calculations. The references are exhaustive with 24 entries, which make the paper really useful. It is claimed that the present paper is only a first step towards the computations of special metric fluctuations with great deal of potential applications.
