For spacetimes admitting two hypersurface-orthogonal Killing fields, vacuum solutions of Einstein equations may be generated using the well-known Belinski-Zakharov inverse scattering technique. In the paper solutions are considered that correspond to one or two real poles in the scattering matrix, with a Kasner solution as the seed. They exist in regions bounded by null hypersurfaces, called shock fronts, on which singularities occur. Several extensions through the singularities are constructed to obtain explicit cosmological solutions. Some involve thin sheets of null matter while others are pure vacuum.
