A surface \(\Sigma\) in Euclidean 3-space is called a tube surface if the intersection of \(\Sigma\) with every plane \(x^3 = \operatorname{const}\) or with every layer \(a \leq x^3 \leq b\) is compact. The author proves that if a complete minimal surface is a tube surface and its integral curvature is finite, then the whole surface is contained in a layer \(-\infty < A \leq x^3 \leq B < \infty\).
