The main object discussed in the paper is the action of the group GL\((n,Z)\) of matrices \(T=(t_{ij})_{i,j=1}^n\) with integer coefficients and det\((T)=\pm 1\) on the \(n\)-torus defined by the transformation \((\xi)_i \to \sum_{j=1}^n t_{ij}\xi_j \pmod 1\). The paper establishes a classification of ergodic self-joinings of the GL\((n,Z)\)-action on the \(n\)-torus, which generalizes the description of 2-fold self-joinings of the GL\((2,Z)\)-action on the \(2\)-torus due to \textit{K. H. Park} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 114, No. 4, 955-963 (1992; Zbl 0749.28009)]. Moreover, it is shown that any joining is a linear combination of the Haar measures on subgroups of a certain form.
