The geometry of the full Kostant-Toda lattice of \(sl (4, \mathbb{C})\) (Q1973424)

The geometry of the full Kostant-Toda lattice is investigated from the point of the original phase space view. Two families of integrals in the Toda lattice of \(sl(4,\mathbb{C})\) are defined over a \(C^*\)-bundle of level set varieties with singular fibers. Separatrices in the flows for these families appear in splittings of weight polytopes associated to partial flag manifolds of \(sl(4, \mathbb{C})\). The noncompact cycle is twisted once or twice depending on the type of singularity. The source and sink of one of the Hamiltonian flows is interchanged in case the cycle is twisted twice.
