Let \({\mathcal P}(^2 \ell_p),\) \(0<p \leq \infty\) be the space of 2-homogeneous real-valued polynomials on \(\ell_p\) endowed with the polynomial norm \(\|P\|= \sup \{|P(x)|: \|x\|\leq 1\}\). Here the author obtains new lower bounds for the norms of 2-homogeneous real-valued polynomials.
