The author calculates the chiral anomaly for twisted boundary conditions using supersymmetric quantum mechanics as proposed by \textit{L. Alvarez-Gaumé} and \textit{E. Witten} [Nucl. Phys. B 234, 269 (1983)] and employing the Feynman diagrammatical formalism developed by \textit{A. Hatzinikitas, K. Schalm} and \textit{P. van Nieuwenhuizen} [Nucl. Phys. B 518, 424-454 (1998; Zbl 0945.81062)]. The main ingredient is the assumption that the path integral is dominated by the contributions belonging to a submanifold invariant under a discrete isometry group of the \(4n\)-dimensional Riemannian manifold. Indeed in this way the standard result (a generalization of the ordinary index theorem on the spin complex) of \textit{T. Eguchi, P. B. Gilkey} and \textit{A. J. Hanson} [Phys. Rep. 66, 213-393 (1980)] is recovered.
