The solvability of the system of boundary value problems \[ \begin{aligned} & u_i^{(n_i)}+f_i(t,u_1,u_2\dots,u_m)=0,\quad t\in [0,1],\\ & u_i^{(j)}(0)=0=u_i^{(p_i)},\quad 0\leq j\leq n_i-2, \end{aligned} \tag{*} \] with \(n_i\geq 2\), \(1\leq p_i\leq n_i-1\) for \(i=1,\dots,m\), is investigated. Various conditions on the nonlinearities \(f_i\) are given so that system (*) has one or two solutions which are of constant sign in a certain sense. The results of the paper are proved using a nonlinear Leray-Schauder alternative coupled with Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem.
