The authors show estimates for the distribution of the norm of the random trilinear form \(A:\ell ^M_r \times \ell^N_p \times \ell^K_q \rightarrow \mathbb{C}\) defined by \(A(e_i,e_j,e_k) = a_{ijk}\), where the \(a_{ijk}\)'s are independent, mean zero random variables bounded by one. Using these results, they are able to make progress on the problem when the Schur multiplication has a continuous extension from the algebraic tensor product of the complex spaces \(\ell_r\), \(\ell_p\), \(\ell_q\) to the injective tensor product, where \(1 \leq r,p,q \leq \infty\).
