      In the theory of nonsymmetric Jack polynomials, \(E_\eta(x)\), a fundamental result is the expansion \[ \prod^N_{i=1} {1\over(1-x_iy_i)} \prod^N_{j, k=1}{1 \over(1-x_j y_k)^{1/\alpha}}= \sum_\eta{1\over u_\eta} E_\eta (x)E_\eta (y) \] for a specific \(u_\eta\). In the present work the \(q,t\)-generalization of this result is given, in which the left hand side is replaced by \[ \prod^N_{i=1} {(qtx_iy_i; q)_\infty \over(x_iy_i; q)_\infty} \prod_{1\leq i<j \leq N}{(tx_iy_j; q)_\infty (qtx_jy_i; q)_\infty \over(x_iy_j; q)_\infty (qx_j u_i;q)_\infty} \] and on the right hand side the Jack polynomials are replaced by the nonsymmetric Macdonald polynomials. The proof is a \(q,t\)-generalization of the method used by \textit{S. Sahi} [Int. Math. Res. Not. 1996, No. 20, 997-1004 (1996; Zbl 0885.33006)] in the Jack case.
