Formalization of constraints under uncertainty and constrained design of adaptive observers for dynamic systems (Q1974985)

For linear dynamic systems under uncertainty, a method is described for the design of adaptive observers subject to parametric, multiplicative, and functional constraints that specify transient performance in the adaptive system. Integral bounds are given on transient performance in the system as a whole and in the observer parameter tuning circuit.
