Analogously with classical situations, the Young-Fibonacci lattice of finite words on \(\{1,2\}\) with a (specific order) is an interesting 1-differential example of an \(r\)-differential poset and thus also a graded graph for which it is possible to define the Martin-Kernel: \(K(v,w)= d(v, w)/d (\varphi,w)\), \(d(v,w)\) the number of oriented paths from \(v\) to \(w\), \(0\leq K(v,w)\leq 1\) and (non-negative, normalized) harmonic functions which have integral representatives \[ \varphi (v)=\int_E K(v,w)\;M \bigl(d (\varphi,w) \bigr), \] where \(E\) is the Martin-boundary and \(M\) is a probability measure (suitably defined). Also suitably defined is the locally semisimple Okada algebra \(A\) with relations \(e^2_i=e_i\), \(e_ie_{i-1} e_ie_i= e_i/i\), \(i\geq 2\), \(e_ie_j= e_je_i\) for \(|i-j|\geq 2\), whose traces \(\psi\) generate normalized harmonic functions \(\overline\psi\) as \(\overline\psi(v)=\psi(e)\) for (a specific) minimal idempotent \(e\) in \(A_n\) \((A=\varinjlim A_n)\) (with other specific properties). This machinery is observed to operate nicely in analogy to the classical situation and worth the attention of those interested in the study of generalizations of such objects and operators such as Laplacians (including Laplace's equation, etc.) to these settings also with an eye to applications. Above and beyond such theoretical extensions this paper also shows a detailed list of properties of the Y-F lattice including extension to infinite but summable words \(w\) as well.
