The paper extends previous studies of various authors on the Hausdorff dimension of general Cantor sets, support and dimension of harmonic measures for (repelling) sets of Cantor-type. In particular, results due to Ancona (1978) on the convergence of the dimension of the harmonic measure of a 4-corners Cantor set are augmented by investigating the behaviour of the dimension of a harmonic measure of the complement of Cantor sets, as a function of parameters determining those sets. Continuity results are established.
