An \(\Omega\)-algebra is a linear space over some field \(\Phi\) with a system of semilinear algebraic operations \(\Omega= \{ \omega_i\}\). An \(n\)-Lie algebra is an \(\Omega\)-algebra with a single anticommutative operation \([x_1,\dots,x_n]\) with identity: \[ \bigl[[x_1,\dots,x_n],y_2,\dots,y_n\bigr]= \sum_{i=1}^{n}\bigl[x_1,\dots,[x_i,y_2,\dots,y_n],\dots,x_n\bigr]. \] The centroid \(\Gamma(L)\) of an \(\Omega\)-algebra \(L\) is the subalgebra of endomorphisms \(\phi\) of \(L\) with the following property: for every operation \(\omega_i\) and all elements \(a_1,\dots,a_n\) the identity \(\phi\bigl(\omega_i(a_1,\dots,a_n)\bigr)=\omega_i(a_1,\dots,a_n)\) holds. An \(\Omega\)-algebra \(L\) over a field \(\Phi\) is called a central algebra whenever \(\Gamma(L)=\Phi\). In the preceding article [Algebra Logika 38, No. 3, 181-192 (1999; Zbl 0930.17004)], when classifying simple \(n\)-Lie algebras over fields of nonzero characteristic, the author gave two examples of simple \(n\)-Lie algebras, \(A(H,t)\) and \(E(H)\). In the article under review, it is proven that two of these algebras are central simple \(n\)-Lie algebras.
